You will need to microroot the mohair by hand which can take quite a while if you are starting out but it is well worth the extra effort. Bags of mohair come in many different sizes but it is always a good idea to buy extra so you never get caught short.
Doll Paints
This is probably the most important supply you will need as can make the doll look incredibly lifelike. Try to get some good quality paints, such as the Genesis Heat Set paints, you can buy a huge selection of ready mixed skin tones so you dont need to worry about remixing and getting it wrong. As the name suggests, once painted you then bake the limbs you have painted in order to get the paint to set. You usually need to do several layers of this so once again, it can be quite time consuming.
